Terms of Service
What Y.EAA does for you, what it will not do without asking you first, and what stays your responsibility.
Version 2026-08-08, in effect from .
What Y.EAA does
Y.EAA helps you find job opportunities, understand why each one fits, and keep track of what you have applied to. You give it a resume and the roles you are looking for; it searches, ranks what it finds against your profile, and explains its reasoning in terms you can check against the posting itself.
It is a tool that assists your job search. It does not represent you, negotiate for you, or speak to an employer as though it were you.
Your account
One account belongs to one person. You sign in with a supported identity provider or with a one-time code sent to your email address.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think somebody else has reached it, sign out every session from your account settings — that revokes them on their next request rather than waiting for anything to expire.
Accounts are for people looking for work on their own behalf. Do not open one for somebody else without their knowledge, and do not share one.
What reaches an employer is yours to stand behind
Everything Y.EAA prepares is drawn from what you gave it. If your resume overstates something, an application built from it overstates the same thing, and it is your name on the application.
You are responsible for making sure anything submitted to an employer through Y.EAA is accurate and truthful, including text the product drafted for you. Read it before it goes.
Misrepresenting your identity, your work history, your qualifications, or your authorisation to work is a misuse of this product.
What we do on your behalf, and what we will not do without asking
Y.EAA acts within an authority you grant explicitly, one action at a time. Searching for opportunities and preparing an application are things it does because you asked for them.
Submitting an application is a separate decision from preparing one, and it requires your confirmation for that particular submission. Agreeing to these terms is not that confirmation, and no setting converts it into one.
Today Y.EAA does not submit applications for you at all. If and when it can, switching that on will be a choice you make for a specific batch of applications, and it will default to off.
We do not create email accounts, social accounts, or employer-site accounts for you, and we do not sign in to an employer's site as you.
Text the product generates
Y.EAA writes drafts: an account of why a role fits you, an answer to an application question reused from one you wrote before. A draft can be wrong, and it can be wrong while sounding certain.
Where the product does not know something, it is built to say so rather than to invent an answer. Treat everything it generates as a draft you are about to put your name on.
You keep whatever rights you already have in your resume, your answers, and your profile. We use them to run the product for you and claim no ownership of them.
Employers, job boards, and other sites
Opportunities come from third-party sources, and applying means dealing with a third party on their terms rather than ours. Their sites, their privacy practices, and their hiring decisions are theirs.
A posting can be stale, duplicated, or withdrawn between the moment it is found and the moment you read it. We report what the source said and when it said it.
Do not use Y.EAA to reach a site you have been barred from, to work around a site's own controls, or in a way that breaks the terms of the site you are applying through.
Using the product fairly
Do not attempt to reach another customer's data, probe for identifiers that are not yours, or work around a limit the product places on an account.
Do not use Y.EAA to send applications you have not read, to spam employers, or to apply on behalf of anybody but yourself.
Do not scrape the product, resell its output, or redistribute it as a data source.
Paying for it
Y.EAA does not charge for anything today. When it does, what a purchase buys, what it costs, and how refunds work will be published before any of it applies to you.
Where an action spends credit, the product says so before you confirm that action. Applying manually does not spend credit meant for automated filling.
What we do not promise
No employment outcome. Y.EAA does not promise interviews, offers, replies, or that a person will ever read a given application.
The product is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, and we do not guarantee that it is either at any particular moment.
So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for a lost employment opportunity, arising from your use of the product.
Ending your account
You can end your account whenever you like, and ask us to delete what we hold. What that removes, and what we are obliged to keep, is described in the Privacy Policy.
We can suspend or close an account being used to misrepresent somebody, to reach data that is not theirs, or in a way that puts other customers or the service at risk. Where we are able to tell you why, we will.
Changes to these terms
These terms are versioned, and the version is the date they took effect. This is version 2026-08-08.
When we publish a new version we state whether it requires your agreement again. A change to what you are actually agreeing to does. A corrected typo does not, because asking you to re-agree to a typo teaches you to click past the changes that matter.
Where a new version does require your agreement, the actions that depend on it stop until you give it. The rest of your account keeps working, and nothing you have already saved is touched.
